2019 recapped in a nutshell

2020 is coming ahead in just a couple short weeks

This 2019 has been treated me so far so good,

I've traveled to the United States and worked at Cedar Point this summer and hated every second of it, although I've met a lovely roommate there.

They say when you travel for the first time, you get all excited and hype out, however, when you travel for the third time for the same reasons it started to get old.

I believe this principle stays true to most things are, like foods, songs, movies and etc.

I've tried how to make money business opportunities for years, from selling life-insurance door to door with Prudential, Amazon FBA E-Commerce and lots of shiny object syndrome without any sign of success.

Then, I stumbled across Fiverr and saw a guy named Damian Prosalendis, who is a Greece kid who infamously took the internet by storm by his flamboyant lifestyle at age 20 and getting a lot of heat by that. But I took the core of his message, Fiverr made him up, from Freelancers to Amazon FBA.

Around this year 2019 January, I started to get serious about Fiverr, started retweak my profile based on his teachings and fast forward towards the end of 2019. I've made well over $2,000 USD this year that was like RM8,000+ doing online work.

For some of you guys might be thinking, that is so less for income for a year.

Yea, it's a business, we can't guarantee something like a job.

Sometimes I get sales, sometimes I don't.

Sometimes I have good months I made $400/ month, some bad month I've made less than $30 that month.

The moral of this sharing are steps by steps you get ahead, not necessarily in fast spurts as said by Charlie Munger, the business partner of Warren Buffet.

The world is not yet crazy enough to reward undeserving people.

Out of all the business I've started, this can be the most beginner-friendly and anyone literary can make it.

For health-wise, I've gained an unnecessary 5 kilo which makes almost all my shirts became more tight, which is a thing I needed to change in 2020, its to become more active again.

I'm going to join back Martial Arts like Karate and go to Swimming a lot more this year. Do more HITT.

My training regimen is like what a 60-year-old would do which is to walk 10,000 steps every day, its easy work and not a lot of intensity. However, every session took around 1 and a half hours which wasted a lot of time and not effective for losing weight.

2020 would be a great year for me am excited what it could give to me, I'm 24 and about to graduate this year finally for my long 4-year Bachelors's Degree in Communication Studies!

Finally, the phase of life that's no more society programmed us what to do and free to do whatever we want!

23 Lessons Learnt at 23

Today marks my 23rd year on this planet Earth. I'm going to share what I've learned/ discover so far at 23. I'll make it 23 points. No particular order of its importance.

  1. The world doesn't care about your motives/ wants/ desires. It only cares What's In It For Me? If you want somebody's attention, they will only pay attention to you on what you can do/ benefit for them.
  2. Travel as often as you can, Make it a priority to travel at least 1 time per year.
  3. Spend less time on negative people/ peers who don't support your goals/ visions.
  4. You should add positive people into your social circles, you're the average of the 5 people you're hanging out with.
  5. Learned as much possible, not just in college/ universities. Books. Courses. Mentors.
  6. Everything that happens to your life right now, is 100% of your faults. Take 100% responsibilities.
  7. Try as much stuff as possible to measure which one to drop off so you don't have to worry about it later on.
  8. The family is the most important relationships you ever have.
  9. Make use of your time very importantly, track it down what you going to spend every hour of the day, it will compound.
  10. Control your environment and surroundings is by far the most important thing to stay accountable.
  11. I'm not performing well if I constantly had to face people all the time.
  12. I like to follow a schedule out routine.
  13. Majority 90% of the populations are going after the same thing. So, you better be at the top 10% of your game in order to get the thing the 90% populations wants and doesn't get it, yet.
  14. If you jealous/ envious about something, that means that's the thing that motivates you deeply/ wanted to achieve.
  15. I don't like doing adrenaline spike activities like riding a roller coaster. and rock climbing.
  16. I shall keep on writing affirmations more consistently. I, Ngiam Tee Ee will become a xxxxxx
  17. I enjoyed spending 70% of my time alone, the rest 30% interacting with another person or else I'll feel being alienated by society.
  18. The best career for me is that I can spend the majority of my time at home/ office with minimal interactions with another human being.
  19. Cats are always better than dogs, period. Dogs are so noisy. Unless the good obedient ones like the ones next door to me. He never barks unless he needs to.
  20. I prefer riding motorcycles better compared to driving a car, and Tomato ketchup compared to Chili sauce.
  21. I now prefer to spend a lot more money on convenience for time saved, even though the alternatives are a lot cheaper but waste a lot of my time.
  22. Treat everyone the way you wanted to be treated.
  23. Project yourselves at age 80 on your deathbed, what kind of your like look like and then reverse engineer until today on what you can do today to achieve that 80-year-old version of you and then do it.
======================================================================

If you're reading until this so far, thank you. See you again next year or the next phase of my life when I feel like writing on my birthday.

Have a great day, share your thoughts on this for your upcoming birthday and tagged me, because you've read mine and I wanted to reciprocate. Waiting for your turn soon. Bye.

Cedar Point Work & Travel Revisited 2019

This is my second time coming back to work in Cedar Point for the summer.

I've successfully met 2 of my roommates from 2017 ago from Jamaica and they were amazing, they work here for the third season and when I talked to them I can felt that they are a lot more steady and calmer. This is the same feeling I got when I talked to every final year student in universities like they are very steady and calmer to almost every situation.

My family members say that I never sent them even a single photo during the whole journey from Malaysia to Ohio, even to the day I working like right now. Compared to the first time, I took pictures with everything, subway, road signs, buildings, and every landmark ever.

I just want to say that I'm good now.  I do my best to stay healthy and well-being all the time and lastly, and the best one, I don't miss any single local food here back in Malaysia. I'm fine with the Fries and Philly Steak.

I love you, mum and dad. I know you're reading this. I'll be back home soon in September! Stay safe and healthy!

I buy books like people buy clothes

Today, I just went to the mall and bought RM157.40 worth of books without hesitations. But when it comes to buying clothes and eating out, I become very fussy and stingy.

Whereas people would buy clothes on impulse and eat out regularly like nothing just happens. For me, I invest in my education, not just on the degree, but also on my self-improvement and skills too.

Last month I bought an online course recommended by a guy on Facebook which I barely even know. It's called Sales Engineering by Ryan Holmer, it cost just a fraction of $200 or $197, it converts Malaysian appx RM800 on a debit card payments online.

You see, I can pull a trigger like this without a doubt, but you tell me to buy clothes I become very stingy and calculative.

The course I bought already covered back 100% because I've signed up clients who pay me RM1000 monthly to manage their social media account. I've also made money online Freelancing that over returns on my investment in the books and courses I've bought so far.

To leave it like this, if you live your life like the majority, you'll live your life like the majority. If you live your life like the 1%, you get what comes next.

You become the 1% who lives the life of what the 99% of majority dreams about!
